This is what will happen in the second half. We'll continue in much the same way, passing it back and forth in front of a comfortable Albion midfield. We'll lump the ball up to Gabby, who will fall over and try to get us a penalty. He may even succeed. Either way, it'll either finish 1-1, if we're really, really lucky, or we will lose. And we'll thoroughly deserve the defeat.

Hopefully Sherwood will bring Sinclair on second half. Hoofing it up to Gabby is making it very easy for Albion to defend. The same goes with high balls into the box. Albion are very compact so we need to explore other options.

Very open game, either team could have gone in one up but Albion created more chances so probably deserve it if you had to give it to one. Shocking defending from Amavi and the defence again doesn't fill me with confidence.

That is a damning indictment of Sinclair's first half performance, as he is already on the pitch lol

You do wonder where our goals are going to come from this season.
Can't score ,can't defend it really doesn't bode well
Very true I am afraid. Gil is very good today but we are so poor going forward, has their keeper had a save to make? We never look like scoring. And we always seem to make defensive errors. I really hate it. If we loose today , we have one point in five games

Sadly this game shows why Pulis is a far better manager than Sherwood.  They look organised with a proper plan.  We look a disorganised rabble.

I don't think we look disorganised at all. Quite the opposite, really. The second half last week against Leicester was disorganised.

Would you really swap Sherwood for Pullis though? I couldn't bare to watch a Pullis team for a full season.

I would.  It might not be pretty, but it's effective.  Sherwood makes a lot of noise, but at the moment he's being found out.

We are now about to witness Sherwood attempting to change a game. Hold onto your seats folks.

Again, no matter how much I hate us being shit, I'd rather stop supporting Villa entirely than have Tiny Penis as our manager.

I said before the game to my wife (Albion season ticket holder and gone today) that they'll go 1-0 up first half, probably through Berahino and they'll all love him again, then we'll batter them second half and draw 1-1. Can't see that though after that first half, they won't cross the halfway line now and we're too slow and pedestrian to break them down.

He'll probably send the entire midfield out with clogs on.

Sherwood has done nothing to indicate he can manage at this level, and his subs recently have made us much worse rather than improved us.

Lets hope he can turn it around this half.

I've said it before but we are like Albion under Mowbray we all know what happened there.

pretty accurate one though, doesnt want to know unfortunately with his back to goal

they have been the better side and had a couple of great chances early on

would like to see veretout on at half time, need something different in midfield

dont think Grealish could have any complaints if he got the hook
