This will be a great day for Scottish rugby. 47-21 with 8 mins to go.

Shame they got a bonus point which takes title race out of our hands. Imagine we will lose to Ireland, though, so moot point. Still, great performance.

We've put fifty points on France and the overall score flatters them.

Enjoyed the game even though I don't understand much of it.

Wales are giving Ireland a real test here.

3rd Ireland try was dodgy as fuck and I think they're lucky to have dodged a couple of yellow cards, Furlong in particular.

Ireland lucky to have dodged yellow cards? Never 😉

I'm a decent fella, so I can put your gripes to one side, and say c'mon England next week!

It's mad given that there were serious questions about Townsend as manager prior to the England game.

Brilliant from Scotland.
Puts our defeat to them into perspective and shows that the Italy game was an anomaly.

I think Townsend is pretty underrated as a coach.

I reckon that gets upgraded for Underhill, really silly tackle.

Agree, he was playing really well, too.
Spencer has had a good game, too, to be fair

Stays yellow, very lucky.

The problem with Spencer is that if he plays we play kick and chase, because it's all he can do.

And now down to 13 stupid from Itoje.

Wow England are a shambles.  Accuracy at the basics has plummeted and we’ve never been dynamic when the play is broken.

Got everything we deserved today, 9 changes but still played the same bland rugby with no idea how to play if the kicking game doesn't work. Borthwick is done, he had 2 1/2 years longer in the job than he deserved because the players went off script in the last world cup and similar happened last 6N but the Lions gave him his reset chance to go back to the only game he knows and it's come back to bite us.

The only positive I can think of is that it's happened now not next year, which will give the new guy a chance to try some things before he has to settle on his world cup squad. Massive decision for the RFU now though because there's a lot of quality and depth available for the squad but we need someone who's not afraid to play a game that suits the squad instead of trying to shoehorn them into being Leicester from the early 2000s.

Fair play to Italy though, they were solid and stuck to their plan of how to nullify us whilst having the sense to realise that letting Ioane and Menoncello play their natural game would create chances, the latter was the man of the match by a very long way, exceptional player.

Well done Italy.

Borthwick under serious pressure now.
