Blues game
« on: September 06, 2015, 02:36:09 PM »
Surprised no one has started a thread so here goes as am seeking advice :

According to the criteria I am in the varied booking history which puts me below someone who might have only gone to 2 games last season which seems unfair unless I am reading it wrong ?

My situation - season ticket holder for many years up to and including last season; bought tickets for the Albion cup game, the semi, the final and Arsenal away; moved my seat twice last season and bought additional tickets for my son on both occasions but put them on his reference.

So technically, I only booked 1 home game last season (Albion) - any thoughts ?

If you had a ST last season I would assume you qualify to buy on this date.

From Thursday September 10: On sale to supporters with a 5+ home booking history from 2014/15.

You should have at least a 19 game booking history for a ST last season, best bet is give them a call tomorrow to double check.

Are people expecting this game to sell out ? Personally I can see it being about 36k

How many seats are in R1?

I reckon about 38k overall, IIRC even the Bradford semi didn't sell out

Was talking to a bloser colleague earlier and he said that their next two home games are sold out  because they have to buy tickets for those two in order to qualify for a cup ticket at Villa Park. So have they gone for their full 15% allocation?

I booked tickets at the New St shop earlier. Had to wait about half an hour but the queue had doubled by the time I left. Chatting to the lady serving who said it was her first day back after holiday, had no idea of the draw and was expecting to have a nice easy day to ease her back into it.

Useless wankers won't answer the phone. Why have they got rid of the perfectly good hold system that tells you what number you are in the queue to replace it with a permanent engaged tone?

Getting this message when trying to buy 2 tickets for myself and brother both with valid criteria (Villa Cash with 5+ games) client refs when proceeding to checkout:

Quote
Unfortunately, you are attempting to purchase more tickets for a match than you are allowed to. Please double check, and remove items from your basket to proceed.

Anyone else getting the same problem?

edit: resolved by purchasing tickets individually so something may be wrong with the online ticket office preventing us purchasing multiple tickets even if it allowed to assign to valid client ref. Weird.
