I am looking to get tickets for this one but saw it won't be going on general sale due to being a derby.

Does this mean, that on the day, you still won't be able to purchase tickets at the ground?

If you've got the relevant booking criteria and if tickets are still left, you should be able to buy on the day.

I don't have booking history though.

I spoke to the ticket office who confirmed tickets will not be on general sale on the day of the match due to concerns of away fans in home end I looked into the history of the fixture and the attendance last year was 31k.

So 10k empty seats.

Makes sense.

It was a Tuesday night last time. If you've ever bought tickets for a Villa game, you'll have a booking history.

Is there a reason why you have absolutely no booking history?

This crowd will be a lot closer to 40,000

I think that sometimes people equate booking history with just the current season.
