So, according to BBC Sport, Livingston are "incredibly disappointed" at Sarkic being recalled by Villa?? Absolutely no recognition of our current plight with injuries....

Probably in the same way that we would've been very dissapointed if Tammy was recalled by Chelsea last January. I wouldn't take it as a dig at us, more that he's doing a good job there and the're dissapointed to lose him.

Exactly, he's doing well for them and they wanted to keep him. We do seem to try and see something that isn't there quite often.

Quote
Livingston FC regrets to announce that goalkeeper, Matija Sarkic, has been recalled by parent club, Aston Villa.

Matty returns to Villa Park as regular first-choice goalkeeper, Tom Heaton, sustained an injury which resulted in him being stretchered off in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Burnley.

This is incredibly disappointing news for all at Livingston FC given the level of performance we’ve seen from Matty this season. He had managed to keep 7 clean sheets in 18 appearances for the Lions so far this campaign, including a blank in our 2-0 win over Champions, Celtic.

We wish Matty all the very best in the future and it goes without saying that he’ll always be welcome at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Sounds like they’ve really blown a fusilli over losing him.

I wonder if his return means we're expecting another club to (pasta) shell out for Kalinic.

I was at the Celtic v Livingstone game in November, Celtic won 4-0. He wasn’t at fault for any goals, made a few decent saves & his kicking & distribution, was very good.
