Might be better start him, give him 60 mins , get the goals we need then take him off and get Gabby on as impact sub
Can we please stop with this myth that Gabby is in any way, shape or form an impact sub...its almost as laughable as his desire to become a "playmaker".

That is the nature of a myth. It's mtyhological. It's a mythtery to me. A shot in dark. A big quethtion mark. In hithtoree.

There have been 30 premier league games so far. Only 6 home victories.

With the right team selection and tactics we should win this at a canter, they are not a good team. Be interesting to see how we line up, pretty hard to not add my voice to the clamour to drop Gabby and give either Sinclair or Kozak a chance to join Gestede amoungst the goals. Hopefully we'll get to see more of Grealish, Gil, Adama and Veretout as well. 2-0 Villa.

I think this is based on the 2-2 at the Olbiun when Lambert had to keep 3 players off until the 60th minute and we were 0-2 down. Of course Gabby didn't score that night....

This one has got "game of football" written all over it. If you asked me before the game, I would snap your hand off for a 3-0 demonstration of gelling, getting up to speed, tactical wizardry and "Get the fuck in Villa!"

Also, I am back to school on Monday and depressed enough as it is.

At this stage I would take a dull 1-0 victory just to get us more gelled and winning at home in the league.

Apparently a bug is affecting the squad and There's a couple of players we hope will be ok. No names

Could really do without that. Really do want to be winning this one

I wonder if this "bug" is a way of gently dropping Gabby without raising too much media profile?

He's giving Adama until the last minute to see if he's fit, so whether he makes this game or not it can't be too serious of an injury which is a relief.

He does seem to have a habit of making things sound worse than they are

The two ill players could be Richardson and baker or they could be Richards and grealish. Big difference! (Bug difference?)

We have a talent for making ordinary > poor teams look good, and we'll need to break that cycle if we want to stop arsing about at the lower end of the table.  It's taken us a while to dig ourselves into this rut though, so maybe we're comfortable with it.

0-0 or 1-0 to them.
