I'm assuming Savo was running around Aston with some blue paint in the early hours of this morning...

They`re saying for weeks this isn`t their cup-final, well if what i`m seeing on Facebook is anything to go by it`s the World Cup/Fa cup/christmas/blowjob off Kim Kardashian, all rolled into one  -  unreal, they`re like Keith Moon on Speed, so hyped up its not true, and all a bit small-time on their part really.

WE are the reason for their existance

forever in our shadows, these cretins dont support sha, more like a collective of Villa haters.

we must be doing something right to get up their noses as we do.

like what i did with that?

I never, ever get involved in any Facebook 'banter' with them.  It's simply not worth it, because just like tonight's game, they claim some shit moral victory about anything they can find.  They're best left to it.

Just seen this quote on a blog in the Mail

Despite it being just the 3rd round of the League Cup, it will be a bigger crowd than has been seen at the Sty for over 30 years. It is your biggest game in 4 years. It isn't even our biggest game in 4 days.

Enough said ?

If you want to speak to him tonight he'll be the one outside the away end being led around by a burly tattooed biker type on a chain, down on all fours in full leather all in one with a zip over the mouth and a cutaway around the arse area.

Just found out Ten Sport are showing the match live 12.15 AM kick off. So just have to make sure the chaps who are coming to take me to dinner at 9 return me back before midnight!

Saw someone on Twitter say around 38,000 expected tonight. Don't think it will be that high personally, but hope I'm wrong. That would be a good crowd for a 3rd round game with trouble almost guaranteed.

I had a quick look earlier and 38 looks about right.

Holte and lower north sold out
first two tiers of the trinity almost gone
the only really big spaces were top tier of the trinity with spaces from halfway back

I think he'll go:

Bunn

Hutton Richards Lescott Amavi

Clark

Gil Westwood Grealish

Gabby

Guzan, Sinclair, Gestede, Veretout, Gardner, Sanchez, Kozak

Mind you, I would start with Sinclair instead of Gil and Gestede instead of Gabby

Where ever have you got the idea to put Clark in midfield from? That experiment failed years ago

and how has Westwood retained his place over Sanchez?

and why are we only playing 10 men?

I'm for experimentation though

-----------------Guzan
------Richards--Clark---Lescott
Bacuna-------------------------Amavi
----------------Sanchez
--------Veretout-----Grealish
--------Gestede-----Gabby

Bench - Bunn, Ilori, Kozak, Gil, Richardson, Ayew, Sinclair

Veretout over Gil due to being a box to box player capable of playing the number 10 role, yet still being able to defend

I'd have Ilori for Clark if he was match fit too

It's a defensive formation, but i'm sick of looking fragile and they're going to be the bang up for it team playing high tempo stuff

Don't worry lads and lasses, in a few hours he will have crawled back into his hole not to be seen again.
