Just worked out that this will be my 14th blues derby, my previous record is 5-4-4..
My OCD side says they're gonna win to make it 5-4-5 :-/

My oh my - are we saddos or what ?

I saw my first encounter against the rags in 1968 and since then - competitive games I've actually seen "live" (actually there until 1988 - and on sky since 2002) stand at

W 14 -  D 5  - L 15  (courtesy of that horrible period 1976-78) added to that I remember seeing them beat us in a friendly in 1980 at VP and also at the sty in 1983 in the Birmingham Senior Cup Final.

As I said earlier not winning tomorrow night isn't an option

I've heard that aswell, but can't see it myself. The upper Trinity and Witton are still looking empty on the seat plan.

She's alright tbh, then again Karen Brady was my guilty pleasure growing up and I didn't even feel that guilty about it.
Still would now tbh. World class milf.

We are 17-6-9 against the rags during my life, I've seen us in the flesh beat them 7 times and only lose 2. I'm going tomorrow therefore we will probably win. Plus they are a shit fucking long ball team who have fluked a few results, it's not like they're pissing the Championship, they're 7th.

If we can't beat that shower then we might as well close up shop. Also shame on all you dribbling over Brady, she's a complete beast  :o

I don't get this attitude that this game is irrelevant or we should chuck it or whatever nonsense people are saying. Firstly, I never want Villa to lose a game. Secondly, it's against them lot. I think this game is important, very important, and I care a lot about whether we win or not. In fact it will dictate my mood for the rest of the week considerably. That's what football's about.

Hear hear!

I also agree

I know people have there own view on this game, but for me its the most important one we ever play in, apart from finals I suppose
its actually my favourite match to watch, I love the rivalry I love the fact its a true local derby where virtually everyone there would have been born or live within 40 miles or so, no one is getting bussed in from St Albans or Maidstone just from Small Heath,

its 'our thing' as the mobsters would say,
no one else matters its not a Super Sunday Sky Wankfest game its just us and the neighbours and the most hostile atmosphere in English football

I never miss this game home or away if I can help it, and I'm not even a Brummie,
I look forward to it more than any other, the only good thing is if we do lose living just outside of MK there aren't any noses around so I don't get the stick that many of you on here do

I cant wait

This could sound horrible, John. But if you don't,  and haven't lived here, I don't think you do get it. It is fucking awful.

I hate it. Utterly detest playing them. It's never fun, we have nothing to gain, everything to lose, always hate-filled. We have no choice, it's something we must do, so I shall be there, as ever, tomorrow, to watch my team. But I'd take different opposition every single time.
