I wouldn't get too concerned about their fairy tales.

With the criteria change tomorrow, I reckon we will probably have between 34,000 and 36,000 on the gate. Higher than any attendance they've had in 30 years.

All they're doing on SHA is posting nonsense & Seeing how quickly it gets a mention on here.
Just ignore what the fuckers claim to have done, we all know the truth .

26,000 gone for 3rd round League Cup tie against second division garbage is good going with a week to go.

Glad there are some left, as I am looking to pick up extra tickets with a spare reference number when it gets down to just a varied booking criteria tomorrow.
If anyone amongst you trusty souls who are not likely to get arrested need refs I can offer a couple as I can't be there PM me?

i'll be disappointed if its not a sell out
We don't sell out very often. About 35000 is my guess.

Be nice for one or two of them to get a ticket on the Holte and experience being close to other people at a match.

surely if it goes to general sale it would sell out?  Would be a tad embarrassing if it does not to be honest
Why would it be embarrasing?

That's what I thought. Who cares?

Funny how every Villa fan I've heard from has said how strict they're being with the tickets, and they're sending out a letter with tickets saying 'if any Villa fans are found to have bought away fans tickets they will have all their rights rescinded'. Yet these noses have just strolled up and got tickets. Always makes me laugh aswell how it's always 'in the Holte', because you would really choose to go in the main home end with the rowdiest fans rather than the more sedate upper Trinity for example.

The last time an away fan made himself known in the Trinity Middle (v Arse last season) he got one of the best slappings I've ever seen.
The Trinity Middle ffs!
My tartan blanket fell off my lap and I nearly choked on a Werther's!

It happened a few times when we were up in A2 - usually scousers (blue and red), manure and, strangely, 3 Southampton fans when we weren't playing Southampton
