So if the rumours are true what do we all think of Villa fans supposedly giving up their references to Blues mates ? Hard to believe myself

As if small heath fans have got mates!

Funny, when noses sit amongst Villa fans there's normally something interesting happens, so if and its a very big "if" a villa fan did give a nose a reference I don't see that as mateish at all, more like a contract!

i find it hard to believe but imagine a few would do it, like the bloke i know who sold his cup final ticket to the highest bidder because he "couldnt be arsed going to wembley"

I remember standing on the kip when Bruno scored two...I do have to admit my celebrations were somewhat muted!

Ha...just noticed spellchecker replaced "kop" with "kip", how appropriate!

I was bored the other day and ended up looking through their "memories from the 80's" photos on the Mail website.

Which consists of two entries of the same picture of them celebrating having beaten us in the Birmingham Senior Cup, various shots of long forgotten journeymen toiling in front of sparse terracing, a shot of Ron Saunders walking up the touchline apparently at St Andrews but it's clearly Villa Park, and about another third in total of various rioting.

What a shit club they are.

Likely to be top when they turn up at Villa Park.

It will be nice to knock them off the pedestal they'll have no doubt created for themselves. I fucking despise them. Well, not the actual team, as I don't really know any of their players besides Gray. They don't have a Savage/Morrison/Horsfield/Purse/Dunn/Carr/insert toss piece's name here in their current line up.

It's the fans I hate. Just complete and utter scumbags

Philly, may I ask a question? Why are blues fans so interested in events in Aston, and wouldn't it be better for their club if they concentrated all their efforts in supporting them, rather than hating the Villa?
Honestly, is this any more true for Blues fans rather than Villa fans, or Bristol City and Rovers fans?  I can say I hate Villa at all.  Generally, I'm relatively oblivious to what's happening to you, but this game is a focal point.  Also, I live 4,000 miles away so my perspective may be different.
that's a long coach trip.

They're looking forward to the fixture that defines them as a club and as a fanbase, you can't blame them for being excited. I'm looking forward to it as well, if only for nostalgia's sake.
we'll meet again, don't know when....

Was that the boxing day game ?
A season where their ave crowd was about 13k then come the Christmas game it was a 44k crowd.
Good following of Villa that day

They still go on about that as if theyd actually won the European Cup or something. We mean so much to them.
