In nearly 80 years the only Small Heath player to catch my eye fleetingly was Gilbert Merrick against Hungary.

Did he catch your eye while he was picking the ball out of the net for the sixth time?

Can we talk about the game, rather than wasting time giving these Noses an argument?  We and they both know the facts, they've been done to death and they certainly don't need going over again.  The only thing that matters is ensuring that the team does what it's expected to do and we can all go back to living our separate lives.

It's so exciting down The Theatre Of Dreams II that they've recently cut the price of £5 tickets to a quid in order to shift some.

Now I must admit that the white knuckle-dragger-ride of following the fortunes of our neighbours has passed me by somewhat, but why won't the majority of their own incredibly small gene pool pay even a pittance to go to this non-stop football party?

It's not expensive, it's not inaccessible, it's not even me saying it. It's b-lose fans, who have been used to pretty dire standards of 'entertainment' for decades, and still won't cross the road or part with actual money to join in the never-ending fun.

Meanwhile at dull, old Vile, thirty to forty thousand turn up to pay a fortune in comparison to them.

Sorry lads, the market reveals what's exciting, what people will actually pay to see, not the myriad voices in your head.

I agree. Us talking about them talking about us only fuels their delusions of adequacy. It's one of the many reasons why I hate this fixture.

Exactly

I would be happy to never play them again...............ever

You cannot have a rational conversation about them  - some of my best friends are Noses and we can talk all day about football, England , golf family etc etc - mention Villa in any context and they just turn into deadheads. Its like their default mechanism

So rather than tell the region (and wider readership of the BM website) the good things about his club, and their chances against their illustrius neighbours, he chose to write a cliche ridden hatchet job on said neighbours, and thier supposed obssession with his own club. Where's that Alanis Morrisette CD?

He won't be the only member of Ticket office staff given tickets i imagine. That will go down well if it somehow appeared on a SHA fan website.
I won't be posting it.

I'm looking forward to this just because it does bring the early round of the cup to life, whereas otherwise I wouldn't be too bothered at this stage of the season because I'm worried about us getting a decent amount of points to avoid a bottom of the table scrap in the second half.  But who knows it may just prove an anti-climax.  Its not really the same as if we got them in a later round or in a cruical league game, but I'm up for it still. ;D

'Loads of home end tickets going cheap on Blues' forums'. This is their latest claim, that our fans don't fancy it, it will be nowhere near a sell out and there will of course be Blues everywhere. I'd love to know how they've got hold of these said tickets, they must all have a varied booking history for us bless 'em. Come and sit next to me anyone reading over on SHA, I'll hit you so hard you'll end up back on your official coach.

Hi chaps
Thanks for your concern around my citing of United rather than City. It was actually meant to be United, a small town club who i believe went out of business. Anyway must have gone over your heads and eyebrows.

So its Friday, the start of the weekend and what a fantastic day. Got my tickets for tge big local derby courtesy of a kind chap living in rural Worcestershire.

So where we drinking? I particularly like the look of that pink and baby blue painted pub. The New Adventures or something, sounds spiffing...i love and adventurous day out. My only concern is it may be homosexually orientated given its paint scheme...oh well.

Catch you soon lovies mwah x
