So being a Cheltenham lad surely you're rival should be Gloucester United?
Leicester lad surely Cov?
Benidorm lad surely you should be more interested in catching HIV rather than poating on a similar sounding forum?

Is it wrong that I think the worst thing about this post is that he doesn't know its Gloucester City and not Gloucester United?

Villa's bigger local rivals are WBA, those games are more important and more relevant that playing Birmingham in the cup every 6 years.

No.
Pretty much what I thought too.

Bet he wouldn't have got it wrong if it was Gloucester Villa!

Do they have any players worthy of note? If any of them are any good we could take them of their hands.

I don't think that anybody knows any of them to be able to tell.

In nearly 80 years the only Small Heath player to catch my eye fleetingly was Gilbert Merrick against Hungary. The rest is outer space, a void and a vacuum of featurelessness.

Seriously - just remind me what poating is??

And just because your knowledge of Benidorm is what you watch on your Cash Converters TV, with your father/uncle it gives you no license to comment.

I am not expecting you to comment as it's giro day and you and your wife/sister will be off to get your white lightening whilst going to complain at Sherlock St that 'It ay fair - it breaks yer art that we can't go to see the viia bastuds. We go to all the games. We have match history! We wus at Wemberlee when we wun the Leyland Daf!!!'

Now - trot off and go and find me a truffle!!

Can't you just tell it's game of the season for them already by the way the great unwashed are coming over trying to stir things up.

As for Philly, he's your typical nose moron. Keep deluding yourself mate it's not even worth pointing out where you've gone wrong it's wasted words, nothing sticks in their brain anyway.

I think we should run a sweepstake, at what point during the game will they start to leave again? I go for 72 minutes.

I think it's safe to say the only interest the Villa have in the rags is similar to how I imagine it to be with Chav neighbours. You'll have a peak over the fence occasionally because you hear a strange noise or you know something deranged is going on like them feeding their mangy cat chicken nuggets or they are lying in a puddle of their own vomit trying to start a fight on it.

They are a kind of weird Ripley's believe it or not club. From boardroom members shagging the players to imprisoned Chairmen and takeovers by Billion Trophy PLC Chinese del boys it's all a great laughing stock but very little to do with actual football, as a club they have very little to do with football. A history based around violence, a present based around scraping together enough pennies to survive.

You've never heard of Joleon Lescott or Micah Richards?

Blimey.
I have, but wasn't aware you'd signed them.

Wow. Just wow. In your first post you actually tried to analysis our side but have no idea who our Captain and most recent signing are? Also, when you say that you don't particularly rate our attacking threat, I'm guessing you've erased this from your memory...

I'm embarrassed for you.

He's really shown himself-up. Trying to tell us about the vibe of his club from the other side of the Atlantic. Telling us the weaknesses in our team, despite only knowing a handful of players - most of whom won't start. Trotting out the old "well, it's never boring line" as though that in some way makes-up for their utter irrelevance in the greater footballing world.

Notice how his mate who had a dig about us having supporters in Leicester and Gloucester hasn't resurfaced since his trans-atlantic buddy popped-up?

I'm all for reasoned and thought-out dialogue with Noses on here, but if you haven't even got a clue about our current team then your opinion on the whole subject matter is basically null and void. For fucks’s sake, there’s a thread title just below the one he’s posted on called ‘Joleon Lescott – CONFIRMED’. Was that not enough of a clue?

They're looking forward to the fixture that defines them as a club and as a fanbase, you can't blame them for being excited. I'm looking forward to it as well, if only for nostalgia's sake.
