There is another one just come on line on Virgin, Big City TV, its owned by Bob Hall and Mike Prince who some might remember from the 80s. Its one of these community channels which the govt have given local licenses to.

It makes L!ve TV look like CNN, the rep was telling me that the most watched programme was 30 year old repeats of Crossroads. Even he agreed it was fucking crap but he reckons people are watching it, I'd imagine people who physically cant reach the remote.

I’ll be taking up the coach as I’ve done in previous years. Villa fans will beat the s**te out of us otherwise. I think the allocation is about right as den caney and abduls tours only have a certain amount of coaches to take us across the divide. Kro!!

I had to laugh at this one.

"Den Caney" ha ha, excellent.

That's one of those names of local companies anyone who grew up in about the 1980s will remember.

A taxi wouldn't cost more than 11 quid, surely?

You can only get one Barry per black cab though.

He drives them doesn't he? I know him for yonks back...he certainly used to.

i seen him at the bingo in erdington ,  took up about 5 chairs

Does anyone remember them awful local adverts that used to be on at the start of the Birmingham Cable days.  Obviously dirt cheap and only for local viewers.  Kav's for Lav's was one of them I seem to recall.

For some reason, i've just thought of L!ve TV. A channel so bad at times, it was awesome.

my mrs won a villa season ticket around 20 years ago  on birmingham cable live tv

Got some carpet from them about 5 years ago and the fitter turned up with 1m*1m of underlay and said where do you want it!

The Undead at work (who never go BTW) reckon you have to go on the coach to get a match-ticket. They say it's on their website (not that I believe them of course).

Was that the station which used to have the weather presented by a midget on a trampoline?

Yep, his name was Rusty I think. As mentioned they did topless darts, also, weather in Swedish or Norwegian, strip Mastermind and the news bunny.

I just had a look at their OS to check that coach thing, and not a mention of it being a requirement. Their latest news section includes an article "Posted: Wed 30 Dec 2015".
