If both clubs want higher ticket allocations at these games it would be a start if they stopped acting like bellends.

The Heathens could make a start by not smashing up the toilets, for once.

The OS states that the allocation was arrived at after discussion with the Football League and BCFC, so even their own club seems to be fully aware of their fans' potential to be twats of the highest order, given the chance.

I can imagine the conversation.

"If you agree to only have 2,800 we'll ask for that many if there's a replay."

"Great. Thanks."

That's almost half of the Sty, so I'd be happy with that.

I think that's the point. There won't be a replay because there can't be one. Just remember the intelligence level of what we are dealing with. I'm sure we had to have a supply of crayons on the table for them use to sign any deal.

Fair point. I'm glad they've got the appropriate allocation, putting them in the north upper above the home fans , nah no thanks. Keep them penned in the corner of the Witton for their own safety as much as anything.

I wonder if the ones who visit here ever notice or wonder about how much better at spelling and grammar we are? Looking objectively it's very noticeable. I suppose the ones capable of seeing it put it down to our private education.

You would be un-surprised to learn that a lot of the members of the Old Sills' various teams are 'noses.
Don't Old Sils teams - definitely the rugby teams - play in claret and blue? Bet that grates on them a bit.

Like you I'd forgotten about them. It's a good post Stu but I'm still struggling to remember them.

Who?

Maybe its because I've had a drink but the one thing I will say about that lot, very much like us, is that they know how to celebrate a goal properly, I think its a brummie trait in that we just appreciate it more than others do, I love watching goal celebrations back on TV and us and them do it better than most. In fact this derby is vastly under rated because were from an unfashionable city, but no other rivalry in football as brought as much talking points, good, bad and downright fucking ridiculous than what this has over the years, I can't fucking wait now!

There are about half-a-dozen threads about us just on the front page of that site - good going considering there seems to be about ten people on there. And it's their busiest one apparently.

All that stuff about being from the city... a lot of my mates from Chelmsley in Solihull say it with irony, some of the brain-donors on there seem to actually believe it.

I wonder if the ones who visit here ever notice or wonder about how much better at spelling and grammar we are? Looking objectively it's very noticeable. I suppose the ones capable of seeing it put it down to our private education.

I love that they seem to have annointed the Gary Rowett character as the clever one, although I suppose it's all relative. A bit like them saying we're not a big club. Fair enough, they're bound to say that - but relative to them? Some of the ones I know think THEY'RE a big club! No, really.

They don't mention the coaches much. Fair enough, neither would I.

They are, without doubt, the funniest local rivals any club in any city could be blessed with. But only when they don't mean to be.

excellently put.

Sat down in my local last night while San Marino v England where playing and the score was 0-6. Me "bit of a mismatch this?" Local nose 1 " yeah, shit game" Me "it'll be like this on the 22nd" Local nose 2 "when was the last time you won anything, you vile bastards, etc, etc, etc"

Local nose 1 "2,800 tickets? "  Me "if iwe were playing a big club they'd probably get more"

And reel them in. 😃

I was out yesterday and my mate was moaning about their allocation. I said to him 'How big do you think our coach park is?'

I think the latest thread asking if anyone's got any songs they can sing about Petrov - and the glee in which it's been contributed to - just about sums them up.
