Stupid team selection and seemingly lucky with the pen

Some encouraging attacking play though. Let's hope grealish, Adama and Sinclair are fit and fresh for Saturday.

Not a ringing endorsement for those who think tactics Tim is the man to lead us out of this mess. More of the same and if it were McLeish or Lambert as manager having spent £40m the abuse would be off the scale.

got away with it. Not a good defensive display at all, and while I can see the attraction in buying attacking players and making us good going forward, every time we got caught we looked like we could concede. PL sides scouting us will put us to the sword if we don't tidy that up. I'm really disappointed by Ayew so far also.

Jack was superb, and Traore is going to be a star.
