I see Callum Wilson scored a hat - trick for Bournemouth today. Perhaps we should've bid for him instead of Ayew?

Difference is bournemouth create chances. We create very little.

I thought Bournemouth were good at Anfield and obviously did well today. Matt Ritchie looks a good player

I thought we created a few things today. You also create more chances if you take them, which we didn't today.

Sherwood got outdone by Pardew with the half time changes that he made, and then compounded things by bringing off Sanches and losing the middle of the park completely.

Well that is the thing we must remember that Sherwood is still very inexperienced and is still learning the game whereas most the Managers he will come up against this season have far more experience.

I will wait till I see the highlights before commenting too much, but by the sounds of the radio reports it sounds like it was a decent game which really came to life in the last 30 minutes.  I guess I have mixed feelings because we showed good character to bounce back as quickly as we did, but then it was very sloppy to lose the lead like that when we were on the verge of getting what would have been a solid point. Yeah I think we could do with another striker, but I'm not having this about Guzan.  He hasn't suddenly become a bad keeper.

Haven't seen any of the match but just seems to me that the team has a lot of bad habits and a lack of confidence. Sherwood has got his work cut out to get us clicking again. How I long to see us as a feared team again who pay zero respect to the opposition and play with aggression

Its a bit worrying that Sherwood's made the wrong changes two games running after making the right change at Bournemouth, also why the fuck do we look exhausted after 3 games?

It's sad that fans of teams like Palace look forward to playing us. We should be better than that.

Think you might have to get used to that for awhile...

I can't see what his age has to do with anything.  He's starting his first full season as a proper manager.

What does Sherwood see in Gabby? he has become a very poor player and should have been taken off at half time, Bacuna is no right back and Gestede looks out of his depth. Need a quality striker badly.

Gabby I agree on.  I think he is good to keep around the squad for the younger players but I wouldn't have him anymore than as a squad player.  Acutally think that Bacuna does alright at full-back and is decent set pieces and going forward.

How can you say that Gestede is out of his depth when we are only three games into the season, he has only started one, and has scored a goal.

The problem with Gabby can be cured at BH in two minutes. Put him on the scales and weigh him. Write his weight on a piece of paper for him to keep. Then explain to him that when he was the player he once was he was (at a guess) a stone lighter. Then say get properly back in shape or you don't play. There is no reason at his age why he has become so slow other than weight.

I totally disagree. If you are 28 years old and still struggling with your first and second touch losing weight isn't going to help you.

But in principle, yes,  getting an extra yard of pace out of him would help. Those goals against the noses seem a long long time ago. He's been below that level for an inexcusable length of time.

got to disagree on gabby, he is the last person i would want around the squad for younger players.

i like sherwood but if gabby starts against sunderland  he really has lost the plot. plus bacuna is not a right back so dont play him there.

its not that difficult is it? is it?

Was at the game today, unfortunately  in with the home fans. Both my palace supporting friends thought we were unlucky to lose. We were the better team in the first half and had Brad booted the ball up the pitch we would all be talking about a hard earned draw.

I like Sherwood but have no idea why he took Sanchez off, but wow what an introduction by Troare.

Think we'll be ok. I was at the same fixture last year, and watched Palace batter us for 90 mins, we escaped with a one nil win. I guess we owed them one.

All Wilson goals were gifts given to him and as he's on pens he got a hat trick.
