Not a bad half. Sanchez looking the part at last, Jack playing well, but the whole team carrying Gabby like an old lady carting home the weekly shop.

At the moment we're confined to one tactic going forward: cross it to Gestede. Replace Gabby and we might see something fresh.

hate the long punt up to Rudy. With jack in the team we should be offering more. Get Jack on the ball and this game is there for the taking

We've got way better balance this week and we look really promising but we need to take our chances. A lot of potential when you look at the bench too. Don't fancy us getting a clean sheet though
I dunno I thought the defence has been solid. What has Guzan had to do apart from swallow a ball kicked straight down his throat?

I think we've been good so far with the midfield in particular being excellent.  Gabby letting everyone down.

If Gabby could actually kick a ball then we might be in front. Decent and we have controlled for long spells.

The midfield 3 look okay. Westwood has done okay, but his set piece delivery has been poor. Sanchez has looked very classy and Gana looks the part.
Grealish is quality.
Gabby is piss poor today, even by his standards.
Gestede hasn't had a decent ball to attack yet. High hanging balls aren't good as Palace aren't a defence that will easily be bullied.
Amavi is good.
Bacuna hasn't been very good.

Second half I'd like to see Sinclair coming on for Gabby. Still think it's a bit early for Ayew.

This game is there for the taking if he makes the change...any one of Sinclair, Ayew or Traore on for Gabby would be an improvement.

Cabaye looks knackered and they're not carrying a threat at the moment.

Gabby off, Ayew on at half time for me.  Then if it's still not working take Gestede off (because it forces us to keep the ball down) and give Adama half an hour.

Just seen the 1on1 Gabby missed, that's truly dire, I doubt we'll see a worse miss in the league this weekend.

I also like Westwood but would prefer Grealish to be on corner duty.

What's everyone talking about Cabaye like he is the second coming? He's a good, 30 year old footballer, not world class.

We were the better team there. I reckon we'll get the winner in this one.

I think we look the better team
No doubt about it. I've barely noticed Palace this half. I was here supporting a Palace fan client v Arsenal last Sunday and they were much better then.

We have been the better side by some way.

Still worried where our goals are coming from, though.

Started well, then both faded away.

Get Gabby off. He's clearly not good enough. Sinclair or Ayew.

That girl in the crowd then  ;)

those white pants look the part on her bass alright  :D

heat obviously playing a factor, both midfields have lots of time on the ball.

Palace looking to isolate Bacuna but any joy they have had have come down to Bacuna's mistakes rather than any good play

Ward is a red card waiting to happen, dont think he will be back out after half time

We should be ahead really, Gabby butchered a 1 on 1 and then his effort at that cross  ;D

Grealish absolute quality and Sanchez bossing midfield

Sinclair for Gabby at the break

Not sure what changes we will make if Sanchez or Gueye run out of legs, maybe Veretout playing a bit deeper

Grealish looks like he could fit in really well in Arsenals team. He can pass, control and move. If only the others in our team could do it as well as him!

Westwood's set pieces have been bad, but apart from that he hasn't given the ball away at all, and he's hit a couple of decent crosses. So far a decent performance from a slightly more advanced position.

Sanchez has been very good.

Ayew on for Gabby for me.

Then if we've reached 65 minutes and still haven't scored then get Adama on for Gestede and smash 'em.
