This is going to be Carlos Sanchez year. Bringing his Columbia form to the party.

Gabby's strolling around in a dream like he's mentally contemplating which chip shop he'll visit on his way home.

Yeah, Sanchez and Gana looks like a good solid base. I'm not convinced about Westwood; he's been decent today, but it will be interesting to see if Veretout can offer more.

I still think Bacuna is the weak link at the back.

Don't think he's won a single ball played off by Gestede. He just doesn't get it.

Love watching Grealish play. He is really excellent.

He makes it look like he's playing a different game, as I've said before, it's the first sign of a genuinely great player, if he wants it enough he's going to be just that.

When Veretout is up to speed I'd like to see him replace Westwood.

Those fucking corners. I await the day this team does not contain either Westwood or Gabby. Westwood is completely run of the mill. Gabby is just crap.

So am I the only one who thinks Westwood's been our best player so far?

In general play, Westwood, Sanchez, Grealish and Gana have all been excellent Monty. Westwood has looked great given more freedom.

Excellent? Gana? It's amazing how we all see games differently, isn't it. I do like Gana, though. I think he could be a very good player for us.

Not a bad half. Sanchez looking the part at last, Jack playing well, but the whole team carrying Gabby like an old lady carting home the weekly shop.

At the moment we're confined to one tactic going forward: cross it to Gestede. Replace Gabby and we might see something fresh.

I think Gana has been our best player. Very good performance indeed so far.

Pleasantly surprised just how comfortable we look at times but we always look like we have a bit of sloppy play not far away. That and obviously we need to do better up front. At least with Jack back in it feels like we can create chances.

Maybe not our best, but I like Westwood.  He's a reassuring presence in midfield, mops up and doesn't waste possession often.
