Nice article. The sooner we can start a season not worrying about relegation (and our 40 point countdown) the happier I'll be. Maybe I've just been spoilt but I'm sure it used to be the exception rather than the rule (unless it was just the blind optimism of youth).

On the TS buying British comment I wonder if that means Lescott may still be an outside possibility? I think he could certainly add something to the squad.
