There's definitely goals in that team; I'm just not sure at which end.

@afcbournemouth: Cherries XI to face #avfc: Boruc, Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, Gosling, Surman, Pugh, King, Wilson.

I think Gil or Grealish will take Gabbys place more often than not this season....unless he pulls his finger out of course.

I think it's more likely our new number 10 replacing gabby

Maybe Kozak's picked up a knock seeing as he's not even in the squad? Gestede excepted, it's a pretty uninspiring bench.

Just have to batter them with our first team.

With Jack and Gil both out, we're a bit short of flair options to put on the bench

Yep, but it beats knowing there are no goals in the team and knowing at which end.

Merge with Mr Sox's thread please Dave when you get a moment.

Let's start the season with three points come on Villa.

I hope Gestede gets some time on the pitch today

Gestede will play against Utd next Friday I reckon....isolate Blind.

I keep this team changing regularly this season....options are good.

Maybe Kozak has missed 18months with a serious injury and has only played a few friendlies against lower league opposition where his performances have been inconsistent. #whydopeoplealwayslookfortheworst

My guess on Gabby is Sherwood is that he'll play horses for courses this season. He's gone small and fast today so we are going to play it on the deck and try and get behind Bournemouth with the ability to switch it up if needed with Gestede on the bench.

I do wonder why Kozak isn't involved though?

I've immediately gone from being really excited about the season starting to absolutely bricking it.

Did they both go up the hill to get a pail of water?

That is most probably it.
