19th minute applause
« on: July 28, 2015, 03:40:57 PM »
just remembered that while watching the Walsall game on AVTV on Saturday, the Villa fans did a minutes applause in the 19th minute!!!

why has this started again? Didn't Stan say he wanted it to end at the end of the season before last?

did it happen at Swindon?

I thought on this occassion it was a tribute to the victims of the Tunisia victims (I sa a post on facebook stating the 19th minute would be used), although I'm not too sure why the 19th minute was selected.

3 different rounds of applause for the 3 family members from Walsall who died in Tunisia- I presume to represent the age each was. The youngest was 19?

You presume right clogger. Applause on the minutes representing their ages.

Think it took a while for all of us to catch on but the Villa fans responded really well.

I was watching on PravdaTV. there was no mention of the applause being a tribute to the fans who died.
