Riccardo Calder seems to be a fans favorite at Dundee with 4 wholehearted and powerful displays. Why isn't he in the Villa squad? Surely he'd be better than Westwood!

In fairness, were you saying that before he went to Dundee?

Not saying Villafirst was saying that, or answering for him in anyway, but didn't Calder look pretty good in pre-season?

He did but all young players go out on loan at some point and it doesn't do them any harm and it's probably doing Calder the world of good.

Anyone who watches the U21s regularly will not be surprised that the Team we put out at Swansea were soundly beaten.
The people calling for Kozak to be picked for the first Team have obviously not seen him playing for the U21's.
He has been embarrassingly bad in the games I have seen.  Can't win a header, misses chances, doesn't hold the ball up, dominated by young defenders.  He did score a last minute penalty against Brighton but that was the only thing he did in the whole match.
To be fair to Tim.  He is there watching at the reserve games and he also see's him train every day.
I can't imagine Gestede being worse than him in any training session.
