so if what Sherwood says is true,

1 - the is no buyer for the club at the moment

2 - Benteke will be staying put at Villa

3 - Gueye will sign as soon as the work permit issue is resolved

4 - doesn't want a relegation fight this season

5 - couple more trips to Wembley will be fine

6 - £100 goes to Acorns

Good for Tim. Nice touch with Acorns. It looks as though he could be waging a few more bets this season lol

When is Tim going to be charged by the FA for betting on his side in some stupid interpretation of the laws?

1 - not quite he said he had no more idea than he had 2 months ago.

2 - yep, he was pretty clear that he wants him to stay whether that makes any difference we'll see but I think Benteke in training at the club every day is less likely to kick up a stink than Benteke sat playing xbox with the Belgian national team so I'm pretty happy that he's still there today.

3 - Not sure there's any issues, it was more of a 'yeah, just waiting on the work permit' than a suggestion that there might be an issue.

4, 5 and 6 are all good.

He'd be a great wingman, Tim. Unlike Lambert who would be mumbling into his drink alone if you left him at the bar with two girls for thirty seconds.

I'd like to see that twat Beakcroft take on the £100 bet with Sherwood regarding Benteke. Tosser.

Wonder if he'll make a similar bet in 2016?
