according to the BBC Villa Story video, he was proper class! but also amazing to see on Wikipedia that he also played for Kiddie, Worcester City and Merthyr Tydfil

Why not? I've lived here for about a year now and I'd have thought it was exactly the sort of place that would form part of a Greater Birmingham, if it ever happened.
