Billy Walker is our highest ever scorer so must be a contender.

Wednesbury born and bred. Black Country . Nothing to do with Birmingham. Its John Devey for me. Born in Newtown Birmingham and died in Birmingham.

No mention of Gabby Agbonlahor? Villa's highest ever Premier League goalscorer.

I've lit the blue touch paper and will now retire.

 ;)

Born in Staffordshire and moved to then played for Highley (of the Denso 39-0 fame).

It's a straight toss up between Isaiah Osbourne and Darren Byfield...

Darren Byfield has just retired
Last game for Solihull Moors last week and he scored
he still looks a cut above the players around him and at 41/42 (?) years old is fitter than most of our first team look now

By far and away Gary Shaw. If we're stretching into Greater Birmingham then Duncan Edwards would get a shout.

Does Greater Birmingham exist?

Even if does then Dudley will never, ever, be part of it.

Why not? I've lived here for about a year now and I'd have thought it was exactly the sort of place that would form part of a Greater Birmingham, if it ever happened.
