Sky had initially put forward the proposal of a 5.30pm Saturday ko for the United game, which the police said would have been fine under normal circumstances. Thanks to those lovely, fascist twats at the EDL it has to be moved to Friday. Televising it on Sunday was a non-starter as precious United might have a European game on the Tuesday night.

The official site says "in the city" though which Walsall isn't regardless of the police department.

Police force, if you please. This Is Not America.

If we want to be accurate isn't it more commonly "police service" these days?

Looking on the bright side, at least I'll be able to go and see Peter Perrett on the Saturday evening......ironically in Manchester.

Great, I hate this fixture more than any other but especially don't like playing them under floodlights as brings back bad memories of that awful cup game yeas back when we lost 3-2 despite being 2 up seemingly going into injury time...

Imagine town will be quiet lively the Friday afternoon aswell with travel chaos thrown in aswell.

I prefer a Friday night to a Sunday afternoon for footy.

Early season, the annual jolly at Villa Park, a Friday, it's a day off work, for those with a job.

I'm sure the city will be able to cope with these barbarian hordes.
