Just received this email from the club:

Quote

Aston Villa would like to apologise to the AVTV HD subscribers who experienced problems watching Tuesday's live stream at Swindon Town.

While the stream improved during the second half of the game, we experienced technical gremlins throughout the first half.

We are working very hard with our web agency to ensure the same issues don’t arise for the three remaining games we are showing live – Walsall, Wolves and Nottingham Forest.

We have also informed them that these issues are unacceptable for our fanbase watching via AVTV HD.

Many thanks for your on-going support,

Aston Villa Football Club

the live stuff has been nothing short of a disaster but the overall content and quality of the picture for highlights, interviews etc has been better. The main site needs a huge upgrade which is coming I think.

Have those of you paying separately for PravdaTV received any refunds ?

I also got the e-mail, which basically just says 'somebody else's fault' and no refund.

Sowing live pictures via t'internet isn't rocket science these days. Maybe next year we should arrange for all out friendlies to be played on Pluto.

More Some-Def than High-Def for the Warsaw game

I love the way they pimp this service as HD.

I am watching the Walsall game and although there is no buffering or anything, and the signal might be HD, the source certainly isn't - the pic is fuzzy and low quality.

It keeps changing resolution and i noticed they have removed the button to choose your resolution level.

Had 2 errors stream not found and some stuttering

It's not brilliant by any means ,and the club really need to sort it out.
