Looking through the list I think it's quite kind. Last year we had clumps of really tough fixtures which thankfully we don't have at the moment. That killed or confidence last season.

Agreed. Bit annoying to get Bournemouth away first, but apart from that it's better than last year on paper.

Newly promoted team away at the Seaside - remember Pompey.
Got loss written all over it!

I can see the Bournemouth game being the early Saturday game or even the Friday night game , unless chelsea v Swansea is made the season opener ?

Pretty happy with that, as someone mentioned, cannot see clumps of possible defeats.
Good spread and our first two games are interesting, especially if we start well

I think the fixtures overall are fine really. There's nothing too much there to gripe about.

Christmas has come up a bit crap this year - aside from a surely-not-moved-for-TV home tie on Boxing Day which is nice. Away to Norwich and Sunderland in the space of a week when I could definitely have gone though? Mean.

A trip to Anfield the same weekend as the Liverpool Psych Fest suits me. Could have done without that particular first game for many reasons though. Ah well.

The first two games won't be at 3 o'clock on Saturday that's for sure.
Hate playing newly promoted clubs early, it brings back memories of Wimbledon at Plough Lane in 86 and Notts County at home in 81.

No month of death for us, which is a first in recent seasons. Looks a decent spread of games for once.

Boxing Day home to West Ham sounds a good day out.

Bournemouth's last eight games include Spurs away, Man City, us away, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton away, Man U away. Makes Norwich's run in of two years ago, and Hull's last year, look like a cakewalk.
