Through a friend I met a couple of fellas tonight who are iron ore traders in London. They have a colleague who is a Villa fan bit was going to miss the final because of his sister's wedding on Saturday.

One very wealthy colleague offered him the use of his private helicopter so he went to the wedding, made a speech  and jumped in the helicopter to Wembley to watch us surrender, then got the helicopter back to Brum. Apparently it cost him £600 in petrol.

I'm glad it wasn't me.

Oh yes, one positive was us handing over Dave Cooper's surprise ticket on the Friday night. He has had a rough trot recently and that moment where he realised how highly his mates thought of him, coupled with the emotion of what has been going on in his personal life, meant there were quite a few tears.

Same here. I came home and deleted the lot. Haven't seen anything on the telly nor the radio or Internet. The only thing I've looked at is the post match thread on here, and that was painful enough.

I got home from wembley and had to watch Motd just to make sure. The bbc3 thing was funny apart from the clips of the actual game.
