Huge gulf in class so far. We should be about three down
and the rest. Don't think I can stomach another half like that.

Arsenal are at their best. I think pretty much any team would struggle against them today.

We are a poor to average team, to have any chance we needed to raise our game considerably.

We haven't done that but they've made it very tough.

We could do with some pace to stretch them when we do get the ball.

CNZ and Jack have been very poor.

They're too good. Acres of pitch and they spread round with ease. We've got too many slow players who are probably not even 100% fit.
We need to change things up. I'd get Bacuna and Sinclair on. Add some pace.

Bacuna for Hutton, Sinclair for N'Zog.

Spot on, Dublin has just said Grealish should come off, he's been over awed.

Sherwood won't comitt players to go forward Cleverley is just defending. May see us set up different second half.

Bollocks. I especially wanted us to score at the villa end.

We will do in extra time.

Right.  Swapped Reebok AST Computer for Umbro Mita Copiers.  Let's hope it has the desired effect.

Arsenal haven't given an inch of room. We have found it difficult to get going and with all that possession 1-0 is a poor return for them. We need to change formation and have more bodies in misfield. Sinclair for NZog and match them up 4-5-1.

[/quoteMay be a while. As the rich get richer they will get a greater grip on all the trophies.

Triple change is needed

Hutton > Bacuna

N'Zog > Gabby

Grealish > Sinclair

We haven't tested them at all. No doubt they are a good team but they are a great team if you allow them to be. We've allowed them to play and offered nothing the other way. Knocking only high balls to Benteke isn't the answer.

Our service to Benteke's on the few occasions we've had opportunities has been terrible. How many times have we got to their byline, got in behind their full backs. We are putting in the diagonal crosses and its easy for them.

That said, the gulf in class in that half was massive.  Defensively we've done really well considering the pressure but we've had zero outlet to take the pressure off and cause them problems.

Agree with all of this, Paulie, but would add that a few of our players have played really poorly so far too.
