Baker loves getting fucked up doesn't he? I wonder what he's like crossing the road?

That's probably why he has that massive beard.

Too scared of risk of slicing his face clean off the front of his head whilst shaving.

Depressing finish. Looks like we're taking 17th spot beneath Sunderland and toon.  Lowest points tally and lowest finish in Premier league

Not sure, i think we got 36 under McLeish.

If we need a new keeper - and we do - we could do worse than this one.
Was thinking that. Heaton has done everything with minimal fuss and looked very assured indeed. He could be the one to push Guzan for the no1 spot. And he's still pretty young too.

Haven't we been linked to him recently?

He'll probably shave it off with a chainsaw.

Agbonlahor is truly pointless.

I don't care if he pops up and scores now, he'll never, ever deliver enough over the course of a season for us. Total waster.

I think Heaton's call-up to the England squad coupled with the pressure being off Burnley completely today has put a bit of lead in his pencil and he feels like a champ. We would have put two or three past him last week with the same chances.

We are a better team without Agbonlahor in the side, I'm sure of it.

Very odd, low key last day, almost devoid of any excitement.

That summed it up from Delph there. Flat footed. When Delph is stood flat footed you know your side has got other things on their mind.
Credit to Burnley they took there chance and have happily sat back on it for most of the game. But we don't look like upping our gears, which is not surprising really. Benteke isn't leaping like a salmon today. It's all a bit half-assed.

You have to wonder what the point of bringing Robinson back from Preston and missing out on the biggest game of his career

Indeed.

Especially with the elevation of Steer to the first team, which strikes me as utterly pointless.

It's funny, because Gabby's only famous for being quick, and yet he's so shit at actual football that every attack slows down as soon as it goes anywhere near him. He needs about two minutes to take it down, look around, weigh up the options, make a decision and fuck it up. It's like passing the ball through a time-slowing vortex.
