Arsenal fans are supportive because they have a huge banner ready in response which says WHO THE FUCK ARE THE ASTON VILLA? Probably.I've never disliked a 'The' so much.
I think Amfy makes a lot of valid points and I honestly think MOMS deserved a lot of credit for getting off his backside and doing something.
Personally I am not keen on the flag design. In "honour" of the Frenchies at the Arsenal, and seeing it is 200 years on from Waterloo and 600 years on from Agincourt would have preferred a simple and giant 'V' sign!
The only possible acceptable use of the word THE in a Wembley FA Cup Final banner is in the term 'Fuck The Fuckers'
It's just aN EMBARRASSINGLY-BAD banner ffs,
The in depth debate on the wording and context, cultural implications etc are unbelievable
I'm going to sell the below hoodies on my own blog: DADS (Denizens of Aston are Dead Sexy)http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/-C59/product/129702558/view/1/sb/lPlease can any of you clueless toxic wankers give me three grand to 'send to China' for a really big hoodie that all 25, 000 Villa fans can squeeze into on Saturday, thus sidestepping Wembley's sissy rules and sticking it to the man, yeah!

I find the idea that fans weren't consulted a little odd in this situation. He put it out on social media, and said 'if you want it, we've got 24 hours to raise £2000 for it' The fact that they did, with both money and time to spare, can I think be construed as a fair level of support for the flag. Also - having been involved in consultations, I can tell you that the level of apathy is usually overwhelming until you do something people disagree with, and then suddenly everyone has an opinion.
