I can understand players not going in for challenges etc.. but standing still while the bloke next to you runs through on goal is not acceptable.

Both Vlar & Okore have a habit of being pulled out of position & they both looked incredibly slow when turned. Don't know if Okore is carrying an injury but one of his main attributes was his pace.

He was during the West Ham game at least, afterwards Sherwood said something along the lines of 'people watching have no idea how much he's putting his body on the line for the club'

So presumably he'd be the first in line for a rest next Saturday.

I hope they all have a rest on Saturday  ;)

On the way back to West Dorset I did notice a coach with a large Kidderminster Lions Flag in the back window. This was just before the Bournemouth turning, so were they lost or on a weekend away?

Take it easy on Monty he is clearly not in touch with the modern game!

I know the orientation of that ground and whilst I'm not making any excuses it was very hot on the pitch and the defence had the sun seriously in their eyes during that opening half. Like I say not excuses but they did look sun blind

Unfortunately the sun was not strong enough to stop those of us in the away end seeing the game.

That is on a par with the Liverpool supporters all those years ago enquiring whether there was  fog on the pitch when we tonked their finest 5 -1

As bad as the result was, I am actually happy that we have avoided relegation and I feel quite content this morning.

The added bonus is an extra lie-in this morning.

It's over now and a greater fuck about the result I could not give. Shame it had to happen but one of those horrible shit days that every club goes through and we'll bounce back now that our safety is confirmed. It will be a great day vs Burnley, a party atmosphere, a home win, and we'll give a great send off to the boys as they make their way to Wembley.

Lessons will be learnt ( before you pass back to the keeper - look for any forwards that might intercept it!!!)

But yep, a battle lost, but the war was won. Welcome them back next week, and we'll enjoy the Final!

I was amazed at how many Villa fans were on the train to Southampton from Bournemouth,Weymouth way...great support ruined by the actual game, we stayed until the 6th went in and retreated to the pub to await the Spuds result.

strange feeling as others have said....elated about staying up and meh about getting tonked, we had a great weekend in Bournemouth and hopefully if we can tickets we will be back, also great to meet UKREDSOX at the Stage Door bar :)
