We need a massive second half here. We're not going to get a result, but we need to drag it back.

I think it comes down to pride at this point, so maybe we'll see which of them have got any.

So this summer, we need two full-backs, two centre-backs, a creative centre-midfielder, and probably a new striker.

What are we doing playing such a high line with lumbering defenders trying to cope with nippy forwards? In many ways Southampton have had a day to dream about, with just about every rebound dropping nicely for them, but we have asked for trouble.

There's nothing quite like seeing your team tatered and have it all described by whiny  scouse accents.

Win the second half you fuckers.

Just heard that point about the high line from the scousers. Have to agree. Back four are crap, not Givens fault at all!  Thought I would never say it , but come on you Spurs!

Vlaar has had one of those games he has every now and again. It's why he's never played for one of the top clubs. Sherwood needs to resist the temptation to throw the baby out with the bath water though, as we've played well until this game.

I'd love to hear his ht team talk.

If we score early in the 2nd half we only need 3 and we can score 3 goals tbh, not over yet.

Glass half full man?

I meant to quote someone  that was criticising our high defensive line. Shades of Bolton at VP back in the MON days?

The highest line I've ever seen and the slowest back four i've ever seen equals an absolute roggering.
Unless Sherwood brings on Lowton for Hutton (it was a mistake to play him there), Senderos for Vlaar and anyone else frankly for Grealish.
There will be more.

Time to go on Youtube and find Chas and Dave's Hot Shot Tottenham to blast out.

Not something I ever thought I would find myself thinking. I hope Tim is texting a few of his old players.

Vlaar has been a fucking liability more often than not throughout his Villa career, I wouldn't miss his comedy impersonation of 'concrete' fucking porridge more like.

Agree. Nobody saw this coming. I'd love to know what Sherwood said to them at HT and what he'll say in his post match press conference. I imagine it won't be how excellent we were.

They've been awful, but sherwood seems to be unable to make any sort of change that might halt this.
