Is sherwood paralysed or something? Why haven't we made any changes?

He's fucking stunned like the rest of us. Nobody saw this coming. We were playing really well until the first disaster goal.
Were we hell. We should have already been 1 down by the time that went in.

We were playing fine. Knocking it about as we have been in recent weeks. That we might have conceded doesn't change that. Nothing at all suggested this was going to happen.

Suicidal incompetence from Villa today so far. All over we look nonplussed and inefficient in terms of passing and movement. Credit to Southampton, some good goals from their point of view.

The problem is for all Guzan's averageness this last 12 months and for his shit kicking, swapping him for Given is just swapping one lot of faults for a different, arguably bigger list of faults.

Southampton have been far too physical for us today, we can't seem to handle it - might be a good hard lesson for Tim for next season.

I'm not sure you can blame Given there.

Tell you what this performance might make Cleverley and Benteke's mind up.

Very true. Watching Cleverly, it looks like he's already decided. Delph has been just as bad and then we have our defence.

Well at least we have Given back between the sticks, that's been a roaring success too!

Guzan kicking is shite. That seems to more important to people than all other attributes.

Not to me

I compare Given to Shilton.  Still great shot stoppers at the end of their careers but at 39 you just dont have the strength and agility of a younger keeper

Terrible defending I'm shocked I didn't expect this 5-1 down before half time.

I was just thinking that we should take Benteke off to protect him.

Its time for Tim to earn his money.

How easy was that goal we scored shame most of the team haven't turned up today. Even worse when you are in touching distance of the finish line.

Rubbish. The way TC has played the last few games he wants to stay

We've generally played like we think we're safe, even though we aren't. I still think Hull are going down anyway
