Hepburn - Murphy I'd hope. He deserves another run after his Sunderland cameo.
Gil should be given some game time, if not it looks like a personal vendetta. I'd like to see Donacien and Kinsella play and Sanchez should play 90 mins.

Guzan
Lowton, Senderos, Sissokho, Kinsella
Sinclair, Sanchez, Gil, Cole
Weiman, Robinson
That's a brave selection

Yeah that team would definitely lose!

I didn't pick a team to win, it's a team that gives all of the Cup final 11 two weeks rest.

Sherwood won't be so radical in front of the first villa park sell out in a decade ??
He will I imagine start with the FA Cup line up and then rest 3 players on the hour mark - Benteke , vlaar, Delph

Gardner can't start. Surprised no one has mentioned that before..........

It's almost as though people want us to field ineligible players and get a points deduction.

If we get a penalty, I hope they let Barry take it.

Certainly start with Gil - he cant be that bad in training and he surely deserves a game to remind us what he can do.

Good news Nathan Baker played 80 minutes last night for the U21s. Would definitely play Senderos and Baker as the CDs on Saturday.

I think you need to pick a balanced team, not just rest everyone. I'd consider resting Benteke, Vlaar, Okore, Grealish and Delph, but no more than that.

This game is utterly meaningless.  Why risk a single player we plan to use in the final starting 11?

Correct.
Full house at Villa Park, Okore and Benteke are carrying injuries.
My team:
Guzan
Bacuna Baker Senderos Richardson
Westwood
Delph Cleverly
NZogbia Sinclair
Agbohlahor

Because some players need to get last weekend out of their system and you need some continuity from one week to the next. Plus, you don't want to risk being beaten poorly again with too many changes. The amount of money from one place to the next means we should be going out to win the game. A few changes, yes, but not just for the sake of it.

To be fair, I don't think at team of the following (midfield gaps excepted) is too radical:

                                  Guzan

  Hutton          Senderos      Baker    Cissokho

                               Sanchez

                     ??                       ??

                                    Gil

                  Agbonlahor        Sinclair

I think whoever is going to be on the bench for the final has to have game time.
