With Burnley gone we can afford to rest players and not be accused fielding a weakened side to the detriment of other teams.

I would definitely ensure that keeper and defence are the proposed cup final starting line,
Everyone else should be rested, very leggy yesterday, I'd give gabby half the game also.

Brad needs to be brought back for the next two games..Given showed his age a little yesterday.

There's a temptation to give a lot of players a rest but I wouldn't change it too much.

                     Given

Lowton Okore  Senderos  Sissohko

                    Sanchez

           Cleverley     Westwood

N'Zogbia          Gabby        Sinclair

Just the 6 then.  ;)

Haha. I kind of meant I wouldn't thrown in too many kids like some people have suggested and keep a solid look. Actually, leaving Okore out as well might be an idea if he's injured.

Anyone know what's going on with Cissokho? I can't imagine Hutton would have been selected ahead of him if he was fully fit?

Sherwood dosen't rate Cissokho, he wants full backs who can cross the haflway line and not fall over despite Aly being the best defensive full back at the club.

He'll be gone in the summer.

I would give Carles Gil the stage next week. I'm convinced he could be a big player for us.

This.  Him and Jack next season could rotate.

Carles Gil should definitely start. Would like to see Gardner and Callum Robinson start also. Hope Sherwood is going to try and incorporate Gil next season. He's class.

I'm not sure TS will be that bold when it comes to the starting XI, but I think we might see a couple of youngsters coming on a subs.
