Awesome, important win.
We've got our Villa back, and after missing last week's game due to a suspected stroke, I couldn't have been happier to be back at Villa Park.
I love Aston Vlla.

Without wishing to be harsh, I don't think it is any coincidence that our recent enterprising football in the final third has occurred without Gabby in the side.

and Weimann

Really? Gabby was excellent against Albion and at Sunderland.

Its the other 25 games in the season that are the problem.

If we are too improve he has to be discarded. Bugger any sentiment

And to cap it all off, I got to buy and read H&V in person.  Who's the guy who sold them at the end of the game, near to the entrance to Aston Hall?

He was the main striker against Albion in the cup and not in the positions Grealish and N'Zogbia have been playing in the past few weeks.  I think replacing one of those two with Gabby would impact on the way we have been playing.

Gabby has one great quality going for him as the season's end approaches - Arsenal are shit scared of him, and with good reason.

"Cameron Derby?"   Does he support them as well now?

He mistakenly said West Ham instead of Villa at a rally. He was clearly nervous and had his mind on other things. Folks have been teasing him over it.

Middle of the road, had two young lads with him?

Three points. Be all and end today for me.

Chuffed to bits with the win, thought Cleverley was superb again as was Jack.  Thought at times we went backwards too much when we could have committed their defenders but maybe that was my anxiety kicking in. My nerves didn't do too well today!

Have to say James Collins did a real job on Tekkers. He roughed him up at every opportunity and won so much in the air.

After the season we've had we certainly can't take wins for granted, and this was a really good one.

The only Downside: Some fans in the Upper signing "where were you when we were shit" when the attendance was announced. Thought that was pretty classless TBH.

Was it, raised a rye smile from me. Are people not allowed to take the piss out of people now attending games to get credits on their reference for possible Wembley tickets?

Yeah, good one that, and they were singing to me. In this terrible season I've only been three times - West Brom in the cup, Everton and today. They NEED me at Wembley.

And the answer is babysitting BTW. I would never stop going just because we're shit.

What was it that Amalfitano did that wound Cleverley up so much?
Apparently he kneed him behind the refs back.
I'd have thought it will be seen on MotD
Watched the game, it was a half hearted knee to the back of thigh...very girly.

Cleverley didn't make anything of it really, just said to the ref and linesman did you see that....and got on with it.

All started when Amalfitano wouldn't shake TC's hand when he fouled him. Pathetic really...that's footballers for you.

I can't exactly articulate why, but there's just something about Tim Sherwood that if it was anyone else, I'd find them an annoying arrogant git, and possibly cringeworthy. The reality is I enjoy hearing him speak.

Very nervy on the Holte today. Seemed fairly quiet in L4 considering it was essentially full.
Although there were moments towards the end when they were lumping it up to Collins that most of us wished we were still hiding behind the flag.

That's a stonking pic, can I/we nick it for FB?

Fackers facked.

You are responsible for these results, not that fucker Sherwood

Thanks, I'll be giving it 110 per fucking cent until the end of the season.
