I'm not sure we'd have crossed 30 points at this stage under Lambert to be honest. Think we'd be all but dead and buried now.

Yes I think we'd have been in the QPR-Burnley range. Maybe a lucky win or two and a draw but given 38 points might still not even be enough, we'd have been dead and buried now with Lambert still here.

A professional enough job in what was always going to be an awkward game.

Still not safe, but it would take a freakish few results for us to go down surely.

It's why I'm pleased with Sherwoods comment about winning every game.  It keeps everyone on their feat and builds momentum for the cup final.

Chuffed to bits with the win, thought Cleverley was superb again as was Jack.  Thought at times we went backwards too much when we could have committed their defenders but maybe that was my anxiety kicking in. My nerves didn't do too well today!

Have to say James Collins did a real job on Tekkers. He roughed him up at every opportunity and won so much in the air.

After the season we've had we certainly can't take wins for granted, and this was a really good one.

The only Downside: Some fans in the Upper signing "where were you when we were shit" when the attendance was announced. Thought that was pretty classless TBH.

With an allocation of only 25000 I'd have thought they'd be wasting their time

He did, but it was incredibly soft. They were both chipping away at each other , I didnt see much wrong with either player tbh, just letting off steam.

The biggest twat was Song who after fouling Grealish got in his face while he was on the ground. Should have been carded.

Sherwood said last week after the Everton game that he'd take a couple of scrappy 1-0's and thats exactly what we did today, Grealish is just so important to us now, first name on the team sheet for me, Westham having too completely revamp their tactics and bring on Alex Song too ruff him up was a massive compliment too the lad. We are safe now, even if we were too lose both our remaining games (Which we wont) there is not a chance that the 4 below us will all reach 38.

Also the Lion on the screens before the teams come out is bloody brilliant (I was shamefully too pissed too notice it before the QPR game). Onwards and Upwards!!

When there's hope, we can get some big crowds. We certainly did under MON, when I recall us selling out at home to West Ham.

Really, after five years of utter shite, especially at home, it's not surprising they've dipped. Apparently, today was our first back to back home league win for 14 months, which is utterly shocking.
