I think it is , in the sense if it goes to saints away it will probably go to burnley home which may then impact upon the Final preparations.

It would be really useful to get 3pts tomorrow, and I hope to McGrath that we do...and I think we will; but it's not a must win and there's no reason why we can't win away at Southampton (they are the definition of an average team at the moment). Obviously we'd all prefer we were safe sooner rather than later, and the results of other games will help determine when that will happen.

Rumour off KUMB:

"Heard tonight at the U21's that Collins is injured so Burke will definitely start and Josh Cullen is in the squad."

If true I just hope Benteke goes easy on the Burke.

According to this site we've already played and it finished goalless, creeping over the line slowly :-\

I extended my condolences to the Burke family in the Benteke thread. Poor kid.

Gone for a win. We need it more than the spammers and we've got sufficient quality and confidence to finish the job and prepare for Wembley (I hope!)

Got a weird feeling about this game, nagging feeling we will be overly confident / blasé and come unstuck. It's been such an unorthodox season that I'm expecting a nasty surprise. I hope I'm wrong.

I have been totally fed up with fans over to my left celebrating far too often this season. Even the win last week resulted in two celebrations by the Everton fans. So I would love to see a match that ends in X-0 to us. So please Villa do the right thing today!

Haven't scored against them for the last 4 games!
Let's break that little sequence today, please.

We are playing with confidence now and you have to go into games believing you can win it.
Don't think Tim would let the lads be blasé.

Big Sam will want to win this game, so there's no chance of them being laid back about the game either.

You two should get a room in the Heartbreak Hotel or man up. We're going to win today, and the world will be a better place for it.

I'm going to the gym now and when I get back, you two will be 100% confident. Is that clear?

Strength in unity brothers.  Just 24hrs under the heel of the repressive regime that once again threatens to blight the joy from this once great nation, today we strike the first blow against the false "leader" of this land.  We will hit him where it hurts most, by defeating his beloved football team!!

Record-breaking time. Beeb website says we've not scored 3 or more in three consecutive home games since 1980! That's gotta go today.
I'll stick with my Everton prediction; wrong, but it worked. 4-1 us, Benteke twice, Hutton, Grealish, Devonshire for them.
