I'm another one who fortunately didn't hear it.

The atmosphere was good yesterday. There was a good whole ground rendition of being he pride of Brum that was very loud.

It's very enjoyable at the moment, even at home.

I couldn't hear it in the posh seats.

I didn't hear it in the cheap seats either?

I did.

Sitting in P8 and I heard it at the start of the match.  Can't say I noticed it after the Beasts first goal tho' :D

Something that really baffled me when I saw the highlights was what the hell was Tim Howard appealing for as Villa scored their second? It looked like he was claiming Benteke was offside, it was very odd

That was quite funny. It cuts away to Benteke celebrating, but I think Howard looks behind him, sees the bloke on the other post and puts his hand down pretty sharpish.

I think it was simply because he couldn't believe that the most in form forward in Europe at the moment was left completely unmarked. It was an instinctive gesture until he realized rather quickly it was just brilliant forward play coupled with horrific defending.

Tremendous display with some crisp and incisive passing.  We caused Everton all sorts of problems and they were lucky to still be in the game at half time.

So frustrating that even with our good form we haven't pulled clear.  Looks like we may need 39-40 points now just to be absolutely sure.

A coach load of Scoursers came along Witton Lane chanting ' Going down, going down.' They got the shock of their lives when about 5/6 got stuck into them, more got involved as it carried on up Witton Lane cones and cans being thrown.
I know people on here won't like it or agree but I'm glad fans don't come here and get an easy ride.
Looks like I missed all the action having got into the ground very early. They don't like us for some bizarre reason, if they're acting disrespectfully outside our ground then they deserve what they got even though I would not condone violence .

We were chatting to a group of 5/6 in the tavern before the game, good lads.

They seem to have gone from quite liking us as "equals" to an intense dislike in the last 8-10 years - see all the crap about not liking coming to VP because they got "spat on" and "coined" etc... very strange

Heard it all the way through the game sat towards the back in K6. Is the drum part of Brigada or someone else?

Think we need to lay off Clattenburg a bit, he is by far the best ref in the country right now and one iffy game doesn't change that.
We don't have to lay off him at all. I don't really care how he performs against other teams, if he is a shit ref when we play then that's what matters.

And on what grounds is he the 'best ref in the country'?

He's a poseur with a strong sense of self importance. No referee should want to be the star of the show, yet he does. And as yesterday proved, he's not a very good referee in any case.

Des Little, spot on. Clattenburg is a twat, obviously loves himself, and has spent too much time painting himself with quick drying woodstain. In my opinion, only Dowd is worse.

Delph brilliant first half, good second half, Jack is growing with every game, the Beast well he is the Beast, Cleverly wow. Keep it going Villa and Clatenburg you allowed Everton to turn back the clock, I thought I was watching Leeds in their hay day with all the off the ball stuff and deliberate consistent fouling.
