What I heard from reliable sources is it was little more than a bit of handbags.

A few Everton hoolies were well up for it after the game. Wanted to take any Villa on. While safely inside the coach car park and behind the fence.

Everton fans gave us a very generous round of applause at the first rendition of "we are going to Wembley". Obviously because we disposed Liverpool but still a good touch.

Brilliant to watch and a thoroughly deserved victory. The transformation in individuals is particularly remarkable and as others have said, it stacks up the evidence against an increasingly incompetent-looking Lambert. Crying out for a playmaker and he had one under his nose that he refused to use in Grealish, grossly under-utilizing the abilities of Cleverley, isolating one of the brightest striking talents in Europe... The list goes on.

Anyway, we're in form and playing exceedingly well - it feels like we can give anyone a game and fear nobody. Long may that continue.

Something Ive noticed which might have already been mentioned on this thread, is how much better we have been on set pieces since Sherwood has been in charge.
Grealish has put in decent corners and we look dangerous from them. Under Lambert I remember not even being interested in corners as we didn't seem to have any ideas at all.
still need to improve but its a start.

A coach load of Scoursers came along Witton Lane chanting ' Going down, going down.' They got the shock of their lives when about 5/6 got stuck into them, more got involved as it carried on up Witton Lane cones and cans being thrown.
I know people on here won't like it or agree but I'm glad fans don't come here and get an easy ride.
Did they raid the ice cream van?

This really isn't good enough...I can't see Grealish laugh at him!

I did to Mrs S last night.  I said I don't ever remember anything like that at Villa Park before.  I don't like it, and I'm miles away.  I hope it gets banned before I get there for the Burnley game.

Watching the highlights, Grealish seems to put in some brilliant balls in for corners. In-swinging and landing in a perfect spot on the 6 yard line right on front of the goal for an attacking header. But with enough curve that the keeper can't make a judgement to come until it is too late.

Spot on. Every corner we got I was thinking to myself 'Yes, Jack's side', or 'oh, not Jack's side'.

Saw his dad in the Aston Social after. Couldn't smile wide enough.
