He looked so excited to give them the pen, he couldn't point to the spot quickly enough.

I said the same thing yesterday.

Also, if you watch it back, Naismith does exactly the same to Vlaar just before he gives the pen, i.e. makes contact with the back of Vlaar's leg whilst attempting to get the ball.  The most annoying thing is, is that he was letting far worse things go all day long. It shouldn't make any difference where it is on the pitch, he'd set the bar. He's just another in a long line of refs who want to make sure the cameras are on him

I actually thought it was a penalty and would have been fuming if something like that wasn't given for us. Their second though was a clear foul on Given.

Clattenberg was just awful all day though, no protection at all for either Delph or Grealish. Even Gaz Baz started kicking players who I thought looked a shadow of the player I used to know. Shouldn't have been booed either, that was a bit depressing tbh.

I think it was a pen too, vlaar was a little unlucky as he wasn't attempting to foul him but because of his position he ended up doing it.
We do seem to get shit breaks in every match at the moment.

What about the Everton player (McCarthy?) who took a blatant dive in our box looking for another penalty !
Not even cautioned. Not even spoken to !!

Clattenburg was so desperate to give them anything we ad a free-kick in the first half, the second it was taken he blew for a foul. Tosser. Which is pretty impressive as he was looking at the taker when he blew. He'd already decided we'd fouled a defender.

We've now got two players that referees seem eager to judge against. Benteke's crime is being a big guy and Grealish...is it because he looks a cheeky chappy and upsets them with the shin pads?

Impressive marking for Benteke's second. At least Barry was doing a good job to make sure Stones wasn't going to score.

For that second goal it seemed like a planned set piece. Vlaar and Benteke start in the same spot, then Vlaar attacks the front post and appears to flick it towards the back post where Benteke has gone and is completely unmarked.

It was good to see what felt like a routine win.

We've got to remember, we're only one bad result from being back in the shit.

But it looks promising.

Watching the highlights, Grealish seems to put in some brilliant balls in for corners. In-swinging and landing in a perfect spot on the 6 yard line right on front of the goal for an attacking header. But with enough curve that the keeper can't make a judgement to come until it is too late.

A coach load of Scoursers came along Witton Lane chanting ' Going down, going down.' They got the shock of their lives when about 5/6 got stuck into them, more got involved as it carried on up Witton Lane cones and cans being thrown.
I know people on here won't like it or agree but I'm glad fans don't come here and get an easy ride.

Its a little bit pathetic to have to resort to violence

Looks like I missed all the action having got into the ground very early. They don't like us for some bizarre reason, if they're acting disrespectfully outside our ground then they deserve what they got even though I would not condone violence .
