Another thing, we normally lose or draw these kind of games with the excuse that the ref was terrible, today we overcame it and beat the 12 men. Brilliant.

This could go all the way up to the final game of the season, unfortunately.

Well played guys, massively deserved all 3 pts, Everton are nothing to write about, give me Sherwood over Mythinez every day.

Benteke just sign for life or give Kozak your DNA. Grealish can be anything he wants, reminds me of a young Ginola. Delph you're just a ledge mate....thanks for sticking with us and Tom, I'm full up from all the words you've made me eat over the last 2 months.

Lastly, Sherwood....that is all.

Really appalling refereeing, but a great performance today, perhaps our best under Sherwood. Delph is quite amazing, Benteke is monstrous, Grealish is so smooth and Cleverley is absolutely everywhere all the time. Great win.

I said in the match thread that we're a pleasure to watch, but really need to cut out the silly mistakes at the back.  Delph, Bacuna and Benteke were superb today.

Just a shame that we can't put clear daylight between us and the pack.  Anybody from West Brom down could still go.  I hope it's Newcastle.

Great performance against a decent side. Everyone played well again and we look superb going forward. Must cut out these silly errors at the back as we put a lot of pressure on ourselves.

I usually like Clatenberg but he had an absolute shocker.

Is this the post match thread? If so, .............YYYYEEEESSSSS!
It is following a quick title change.

Great stuff. Six points from matches against Spurs, Man City and Everton is rather impressive.

Ta Dave. Got all excited and butchered the title!

Despite a Man of the Match performance for Everton by Clattenburg we still beat him. We played really well and it was a well deserved Victory.
Cleverley and Nzogbia look different players under Sherwood.

I am over the moon today, but can we have a normal keeper please? Even if it could be foul you can not concede a goal like that.
Even today Pagliuca would be better than Given and Guzan. I mean this Guzan: excellent two seasons ago, good last season, average this season.

A great result and should see us safe now I would think.

Some diabolical decisions made by Clattenburg today. He's probably got the hump because he did not get the F.A. Cup gig.

What did Given do wrong? He had his arm held by Seamus

Archie love some of your observations but Given gets no blame today.

Phew! Clattenburg owes us each a whisky. One more win ought to be enough because teams at the bottom have a few games against each other and there is only one relegation spot left to avoid, really. A win over West Ham and a draw at Southampton would mean a relaxing last day.  Fingers crossed.
