I wouldn't change the midfield here. N'Zogbia offers precious little end result and at least with Sanchez and Westwood we have some measure of control in midfield. I wouldn't give that up when we've been playing pretty well.

Jack's a star in the making but I wish he'd pull the trigger sometimes. There were a few times last week when he'd done all the hard work and it was crying out for a curler. I bet he's got it in his locker too with his technique being so good.

Just been listening to Rednap on Sky with his expert opinion. Bloody easy to criticise after the event. As we saw last week two keepers making mistakes, it happens and I'm sure Guzan is sick. Other than the mistake, Villa have been as good as City despite their millions. We can get something out of this game with a bit of luck.

Grealish having another good game.
Tell me about it.

Amount of "perfect" humans on here is incredible....

I thought the sky coverage was ok, didn't really pin the blame on Guzan, but said that the whole team tactic of passing it round the back just invites pressure on and is more at fault

I wonder how much of Given enjoyed the goal. Zero per cent you'd hope but like Daft Punk, he is human after all.

Why do the TV companies have the abbreviation for Citeh being MC and for Villa, AVL? What's with the 'L' ?

Crap against Stoke and West Brom? Not brilliant best but you are making out he has been a liability which is nonsense. Today was a bad one and his head went but he has been consistently very good for a long time. Given deserves a place on form but we will soon be moaning when we start losing goals from set plays and look very jittery in the last 5 under the high ball. That's when Guzan has been very useful.

It's nothing short of a gift. If you didn't know Guzan better, you'd think about investigating him for match-fixing.
