Didn't realise that a song about a lion was #1 when we won the European Cup. Whats #1 now? Something shit no doubt.

Just had a text from a friend to say that another mutual friend has discovered his and his son's £475 tickets are fake. How they must be feeling is very difficult to imagine

There really is some shit people in this world. Hope those people get to resolve the matter and at least get to watch us somewhere win the cup. Nothing will replace being there off course.

The mind boggles at just what horrible, horrible shits some people can be.

Not only are there some disgusting wankers around, but if the FA had given us a decent ticket allocation, instead of 25,800, perhaps there wouldn't be so many people willing to buy tickets for £500 plus.

How are you holding up there Richard?

Very emotional Toronto. I cried at Wembley for about 10 minutes when the final whistle when in the semi and had to be helped out of the ground by two very kind people alongside me. When you've suffered so many highs and lows over 50 years, it really gets to you, especially as you get older. The memories are the killers and all the people you know for whom this is such a special day. And all the people no longer here to see it. People who helped me get to finals back in the 70s and to Highbury and to Rotterdam.

I want the Villa to win for all of us but especially my brother in law Stephen Mathers, he is terminaly ill with bone cancer, we dont know how much time he has left maybe a few more years as I say we dont know, the massive medication he is on makes his life very difficult.
An 8th FA cup win for his beloved Villa would give him an enormous lift, he is a real man's man but Villa turn him into a blubbing mess, he has been crying on and off for weeks leading up to the final, cmon Villa win it for Stephen.

Just arrived.  I don't think I've ever been as nervous about a game as this.
