Between the hours of 7.30 and 8.30, whatever happens I'm probably going to be a complete and utter mess and probably in floods of tears.

I feel sick with nerves, as well as an upset tummy. Don't know if booze before the match is a good idea.

BC54 VFC broke down yesterday evening (great timing!) so wife and I are having to travel down in her Honda Jazz. Don't laugh if you see us on the M6 / M1.

Still waiting to leave. My son is getting the Grealish haircut just perfect up in the bathroom, while I'm a bag of nerves downsairs drinking far to much coffee. I just want to get on the road.  Nice touch last night, as 8 out of the 12 of my sons footy team at training wore Villa shirts. They purchased them last week on our trip to the Burnley game. It was great to see so many Villa shirts in deepest Dorset. UTV

The result doesn't bother me as much today as the way we play does. If we play like we did against Chelsea and lose I'll be gutted. If we go out and give 100% and really get at arsenal I'll be proud of them even if we lose..We are ASTON VILLA and it doesn't get any better than that. Imagine being born a bluenose..!

No plucky losers today, we aren't West Bromwich Albion. Let's win it.

I am just getting out of bed. I am going walking in the mountains. I wasn't going to go today but if I stay at home it is going to be an agonising wait.
