I rarely go mental now or go out on long sessions. Age I suppose has caught up with me, and apparently this need to be a sensible dad and husband. That will fucking go out of the window tomorrow if we win this. Or I just won't know what to do with myself.

Back in town, and just seen Legion on the TV!

What was the programme?

FA cup trailer, you and your young lad? Something about a bet!

Price of a flag. Freddy said it was a fiver and Leeg moaning it was a tenner. The grumpy old sod!

It was nearly more than a tenner as they nearly had my eye out in the semi with it so would have been straight to Ambulance Chasers R Us.

I'm getting bloody excited whilst also shitting a brick about tomorrow. I feel sorry for the many thousands of Villa fans that couldn't get a ticket but we will be in full voice giving the team our support.

My mate just got two tickets off Paul Lambert, so he was good for something other than getting us through two rounds of the cup.

1. Mrs MDC re-arrange the long planned joint b'day celebration for our 4 year old and 1 year old twins from Saturday to Sunday without any hinting whatsoever from me - Check
2. Brother in law to offer a "guaranteed" final ticket in a box from "his top mate" - Check
3. Brother in law to go off the grid whilst his missus tells me "his mate" wanted £2k - Check
4. Get a ticket for me and pal on penultimate day - Check
5. Queue up and get a ticket for another mate at VP on the very last criteria, get interviewed (with lad) for Radio WM - Check

Fellow Villa fans across the globe, wherever you are watching, whoever you are watching with, good luck.....

To be fair, he was warned about walking round Chemsley at night.
