I'm achieving fcuk all here at work today.  It's utterly futile being here.

When are the teams announced tomorrow . Will it be around 16.30?

If Gabby's in I shall burst into tears!

Really? I think it's written for him to score. Over the years when we've needed big, important goals he has provided many.

However I understand what you're saying, and won't be shouting from the rooftops for him to play.

Just finished in Salford, heading home now. And judging by the way I'm now feeling all of a sudden, I think work's been a useful distraction for a week. I'm, frankly, shitting myself. I want this so very, very much. And right now, my head and stomach are having a difference of opinion over the prospect of the unmentionable happening.

Personally, I'd go with the semi team.

We need to be putting Mertesacke under pressure, with his lack of pace

I would also go with the semi team, although last I heard Given was unlikely to be fit?

EH!? I got my ticket straight after the window for ST holders.

Dear Lee,
You may have heard about our fan initiative ahead of the FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday to create a scarf mosaic as the players leave the tunnel. Our aim is to create a fantastic visual effect to inspire the team on their entrance to the pitch.
Due to an extra allocation of tickets received by the club for the game we are unfortunately unable to provide scarves for your block as part of our scarf mosaic.
Since you will not have a scarf on your seat on Saturday we will send you a voucher in the post next week which you will be able to redeem against a scarf in our club shop at Villa Village.
You will also have a souvenir cup final flag placed on your seat. Wave this as the players leave the tunnel to help play your part in creating a fantastic atmosphere ahead of kick-off and inspire the players as they take to the pitch.
Many thanks for your support,
Aston Villa Football Club

the last few days I have been waking up at all hours of the night nervously thinking about the game...but last night...nothing... I awoke this morning with the birds singing and I am unusually calm....looking forward to meeting up with my mates and have a couple before the game and watching the mighty Villa win the cup before gulping down double my own body weight in beer :)

Supporters sitting in blocks between 126-141 in the lower tier and 531-550 in the upper tier will have a scarf attached to their seat.
