Nerves kicking in, especially after watching that excellent Gary Lineker documentary last night, really showed how important a game this is!!

It was really good that. There's another one tonight, they're all repeated on Saturday anyway.

It was a very good documentary, I was getting emotional dreaming of Villa lifting the cup whilst watching it. The best bit though was the Lineker interview with Gerrard and Stevie Me saying about what a day his birthday could be if he was to lift the cup.

I've gone through a range of feelings, from cautious optimism after the semi, to full on belief a week or so after to real fear of humiliation following the last few games of the season.  Right now I'm back to cautiously optimistic.

On our day, we are more than a match for any team, I can't see this being a cautious game, Arsenal will attack from minute 1, keep our heads, cut out the mistakes and we will grow in confidence and we can win this.

I can't stop myself from thinking that we'll get beaten heavily. It's the fatalist Villa fan in me, always fearing the worst.

I did feel the same before the semi though.

Lucky Kilburn pub before the match, a couple of Aussie Lions staying at mine for a few days (Robbo 1874 is in the air as I type) . My Arsenal-supporting missus will be pleased.

We went to a pub in Kilburn at the semi and it was really quiet and really goo food - cant remember its name???  Which one do you suggest?

Black Lion - it's run by Ciaran Clark's uncle (I'm told). Villa welcome, flags allowed, 2 mins from the tube, couple of stops to Wembley.

Long time lurker, hoping for a bit of advice.

Been lucky enough to secure final tickets through a mate's ex-bosses uncle who works for the FA. Mates called today to say tickets have arrived, look great seats at the back of block 110. Only problem, this is the East stand!

From previous finals/semis, has anyone had experience of swapping with a tout outside to get tickets in Villa end?

Any advice gratefully received.

Blimey. I know a paper doesn't really give a true reflection of local opinions but really!!! Makes you laugh really.

That's pathetic, if people in Coventry really hate Villa that much they really need to get a life.

Why don't you try an Arse forum? There may be two Tarquins with tickets in the the Aston Villa end saying the same thing.

Quote
Arsene Wenger's men - who beat Sky Bet Championship side Reading 2-1 in last month's semi-final - will take on Aston Villa, who share a rivalry with Coventry City FC.

WTF...since when have we been bothered about them?

I'm suprised that's not the Mail's line too!

Haven't they got rugby to be watching in their rented ground instead?

Reading that and looking at the pubs, it just confirms what I've always said about Cov - it's a shithole!
