Feeling very optimistic today.  Yesterday I wasn't.

I just can't wait to get on the train to London on Friday.  My train from Manchester departs at 5.20pm so will be going straight from work.

Staying in Bayswater.  Same hotel as the Semi Final.

Come on you Lions!

I'm feeling very pessimistic about it after the last 2 games for both clubs.  I just really hope we are lulling them into a false sense of security and then BANG!!!

I can't stop myself from thinking that we'll get beaten heavily. It's the fatalist Villa fan in me, always fearing the worst.

I did feel the same before the semi though.

Lucky Kilburn pub before the match, a couple of Aussie Lions staying at mine for a few days (Robbo 1874 is in the air as I type) . My Arsenal-supporting missus will be pleased.

So I've been looking at this thread enviously because I had no chance of tickets as my companies Club Wembley seats had gone to customers and hey ho, just had an e-mail of the CEO'S PA to say two have become available and do I want them?  Fuck yeah!!  So happy!!  My lad will explode when I tell him tonight!

that's great Duncan...enjoy the match :)

I dreamt about the final twice last night and we won both so that has to be a good omen!

For information we won 1-0 with Bacuna scoring a 30 yarder and 3-1 with Benteke scoring 2 (1 pen) - no idea who scored the other

Anyone would think this match was the only thing I was thinking about this week...

Remember our form before the League Cup Final in 1994? it was shocking.  I don't think form will come into Saturday.

Nerves kicking in, especially after watching that excellent Gary Lineker documentary last night, really showed how important a game this is!!

It was really good that. There's another one tonight, they're all repeated on Saturday anyway.
